How can I take part in an Erasmus+ stay?

Students

  1. Contact the International Office
  2. Register via EASY, the European Online Application System for exchanges among higher music education institutions (only for stays at higher education institutions)
  3. Compile application documents
  4. Prepare a Learning Agreement
  5. Wait for confirmation of acceptance
  6. Sign a Grant Agreement
  7. Plan and book the trip and accommodation
  8. Complete an online language course (only if required)
  9. Off we go!

The International Office offers support for every stay abroad from beginning to end, and provides individual information about the many small steps in between.

 

What arrangements need to be made for an Erasmus+ stay?

 

Learning Agreement (LA)

  • The LA is for students only and determines the personal study plan while abroad.
  • The LA guarantees that the ECTS acquired (min. 3 ECTS per month) can be credited trouble-free.
  • The LA is signed by the home institution, the partner institution and the student.

Mobility Agreement (MA)

  • The MA is for university staff only and determines the content and framework of the stay abroad. 
  • The MA is signed by the institution, the partner institution and the respective person.

Grant Agreement (GA)

  • The GA is a funding agreement for individual students or individual staff. 
  • The GA is signed by the home institution and the respective person.

The International Office assists in the preparation of the agreements.

Welche Vereinbarungen müssen für einen Erasmus+ Aufenthalt getroffen werden?

Learning Agreement (LA)

  • Das LA ist nur für Studierende und legt den persönlichen Studienplan während des Auslandsaufenthaltes fest.
  • Das LA sichert, dass die erworbenen ECTS (min. 3 ECTS pro Monat) problemlos angerechnet werden können.
  • Das LA wird von der Heimatinstitution, der Partnerinstitution und der*dem Studierenden unterzeichnet.

Mobility Agreement (MA)

  • Das MA ist nur für Hochschulpersonal und definiert Inhalte und Rahmenbedingungen für den Auslandsaufenthalt. 
  • Das MA wird von der Heimatinstitution, der Partnerinstitution und der jeweiligen Person unterzeichnet.

Grant Agreement (GA)

  • Das GA ist eine Finanzierungsvereinbarung von einzelnen Studierenden oder einzelnen Personen des Hochschulpersonals. 
  • Das GA wird von der Heimatinstitution und der jeweiligen Person unterzeichnet.

Das International Office unterstützt bei der Erstellung der Vereinbarungen.

An agreement between two institutions, also called an Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA), is a prerequisite for studying abroad.
